Board of Directors

Overview

The Island Foundation (TIF) is a small NGO with a growth mandate, clear strategy, established funding and an experienced and motivated management team. Programs are designed and delivered in Bintan Regency, Indonesia, with a governance and finance function in Singapore.

TIF is looking for two new Board Members to help position the organisation for the next stage of development. In particular, the Board would like to add at least one individual with specific NGO field experience in Indonesia (see Board Member below), and one person with relevant experience in the legal field (see Secretary below), or combinations thereof. Specifically, the Board intends to appoint a Board Secretary, and to appoint a Board Member with the potential to become Vice Chair in the future - the Board will be interviewing with these governance strategies in mind.

Currently, the Board consists of five Members, including a Chair and a Treasurer. Whilst looking to recruit to diversify and increase depth, TIF is keen to maintain a relatively small and nimble board which has served the organisation well in recent years.
